Hello

Gowan grew up in Essex, before moving to Cornwall in his teens. It was during this time that he was introduced to Jesus and has been following Him ever since. After Art College (Falmouth), Gowan studied at Bible College (Mattersey) and later completed a Doctorate in Practical Theology (Bangor) researching church network leadership development.

Gowan’s desire to see people reached, raised up and released into their calling has always been his focus as he ministered in Scotland, Austria and now at London Riverside Church since 2016.

Married to Sarah, who hails from ‘the North’, they have three adult children and two grandchildren. Gowan enjoys a good walk, a good book and good food with friends. They both love travelling and he is also a longsuffering West Ham fan!
